BFI Finance Wins Another Infobank Multifinance Awards 2019

Jakarta, September 19, 2019 - After successfully gained a hat-trick by earning the top position for three years in a row (2016-2018), PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFI Finance) has once again proven its finest performance during 2018 fiscal year by winning four to awards from Infobank magazine for the ranking of the best multifinance nationwide based on the Rating of 176 Multifinance Companies for 2019 from the Infobank Research Bureau.

The four awards win by the Company are as follows:

  • Multifinance with “Excellent” Financial Performance in 2018 for the Category of Multifinance Company with Assets Above Rp10 Trillion;
  • Platinum Trophy for Multifinance Company with “Excellent” Financial Performance for Ten Years Consecutively (Period of 2009-2018);
  • “The Most Efficient Finance Company” Special Award for the Category of Multifinance Company with Assets Above Rp10 Trillion; and
  • “The Biggest Leasing Financing” Special Award for the Category of Multifinance Company with Assets Above Rp10 Trillion.

The awards were received by Finance Director of BFI Finance, Sudjono, at the “15th Infobank Multifinance Awards 2019” ceremony held last Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Le Meridien Hotel, Jakarta. The awards for the “Excellent” financial performance in 2018 were granted to 73 companies. The assessments on the financial performances were conducted based on the 2017 and 2018 audited financial statements with two primary approaches, namely key financial ratios and the company growth.

The Company’s BOD expresses their thanks and gratitude for winning these awards which are attained due to the hard work shown by all levels within the organization, especially the employees and management. Such awards should bring encouragement to keep striving for excellence by showing togetherness in working together and innovating.

Based on the research results from Infobank Research Bureau, multifinance companies managed to channel financing amounting to Rp414.96 trillion or grew 9.55 percent better than 2017 which only grew 7.90 percent. Although based on the official statement released by the Indonesian Financial Services Association (APPI) that financing distributions up to the 1st semester of 2019 only grew by 4.29 percent year-on-year, it is predicted that the national multifinance industry can still reach a positive growth of approximately 6-8% until the end of this year.
